One of our clients living in London, asked us to design a pied-à-terre with lots of character. He wanted to treat himself to an amazingly creative interior.
The majestic rooms with their volumes, the sophisticated staff work and woodwork on the walls set the scene. Our intention was to sublimate this setting with architectural and decorative finishes and elements, highly sought after in their shapes, textures and designs.
The selection of furniture was eclectic, representing a subtle mix of artistic creations and works of art.
In the small denim living room, we imagined a place shaded in blue with the patchwork carpet, Mattia Bonetti’s denim armchair and double floor lamp, in contrast with the red taffeta of the blinds.
In the other rooms, prestigious furniture and artist's pieces can be found: for example, the red console by Marteen Baas in the entrance hall, or the sublime hanging lamps by the designer Schmitt that adorn the ceilings of the living room and hallway, or the fabulous wenge "osselet" stool by Jacques Jarrige that enhances the boudoir. We imagined a very theatrical dining room, in red and black, with grandiose lighting and chairs designed by Maria Pergay.
Often, the wildest combinations create the most fascinating decors.
